How to get one?
If you havenŐt applied for
your passport yet, do it now. With it you can leave and return to
your home country; you cannot travel out of your home country without
it. Your government issues your
passport. A passport application can usually be obtained and submitted at your local post office. For further information on getting your passport, visit Passport Services . Be especially careful to
follow the directions about photos and birth certificate. DonŐt send the passport
application to us. You must apply for your passport
yourself to the appropriate authorities. If you are holding a foreign passport
for a country other than the country in which you are now living, contact us. Passport Validity
When you receive your
passport, Please sign it with your full legal name. Also,
note the number, date, place of issue, and date of expiration for your
files. It is also wise to take
photocopies of the inside vital statistic pages. Consult the Visa
Requirements List in your packet
to see if you must send us your signed passport. We normally must have it to apply for your visa, unless
